Wave can now join your Zoom meeting, record it, and provide you a detailed summary along with the recording and transcription.
Here's how it works. Before using the Zoom integration you need to authorize the Wave app to your Zoom account. You can do this in Settings:
Connect to the App via OAuth:
Tap "Connect Zoom Account" in the app.
Log in using your Zoom credentials or internal credentials (for testing purposes).
Grant permission when prompted.
Once connected, you will see a confirmation message indicating that the integration is ready.
Linking a Zoom Meeting
To link a Zoom meeting:
Create or Join a Zoom Meeting:
Start a new Zoom meeting or join an existing one.
Paste the Meeting Link:
Copy the meeting link from Zoom and paste it into the designated field in the Wave app.
Connect:
Tap "Create Bot." An alert may pop up to confirm the connection.
If at any time you want to disconnect or deauthorize your Zoom account from Wave, simply tap the "Disconnect Zoom Account" button in the app's settings. This will immediately sever the integration, and you can reconnect at any time if needed. You may also do this on the Zoom side:
Login to your Zoom Account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
Click Manage >> Added Apps or search for the "Wave AI Note Taker" app.
Click the "Wave AI Note Taker" app.
Click Remove.
Please note that these instructions are not disconnecting from a specific meeting, but rather ending entirely the Zoom and Wave connection created in the previous steps.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Wave will get the recording and generate a summary. It will appear alongside other recordings in your app.
If at any time you want to disconnect or deauthorize your Zoom account from Wave, simply tap the "Disconnect Zoom Account" button in the app's settings. This will immediately sever the integration, and you can reconnect at any time if needed.
