When you sign up for Wave using Sign in with Apple, Apple helps protect your privacy by creating a unique, anonymous email address that forwards messages to your real email address. This email address usually looks like something like [email protected]

This is part of Apple’s Private Relay feature, which ensures your real email address remains private while still allowing you to receive communications from us.
What Does This Mean for My Wave Account?
Your Wave account is tied to the Private Relay email address you used to sign up.
All emails we send, including summaries, account updates, and other notifications, are automatically forwarded to the email address connected to your Apple ID.
Can I Change the Email Address in My Wave Account?
Yes! If you’d like to replace the Private Relay email with your real email or a different one, you can do so easily in the app:
Open the Wave app.
Go to Settings.
Tap Email.
Enter your preferred email address and save the changes.
