Connect your calendar and let Wave automatically join, record, and summarize your Zoom, Meet, and Teams meetings

πŸ”— Part 1: Connect Your Calendar

To get started, connect your calendar so Wave can see your upcoming events.

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Calendar

  2. Choose Google Calendar or Outlook

  3. Sign in and grant permission

  4. Once connected, your meetings will appear in Wave automatically


πŸ€– Part 2: Record Meetings with a Wave Bot

Wave can join meetings for you β€” like a smart assistant that never forgets. Supports Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.

From Your Calendar

  1. Find the meeting you want to record

  2. Toggle on Record with Wave Bot

  3. (Optional) Customize your bot's name β€” like "Josh's Assistant"

  4. Want to skip the toggling? Enable Auto-record all online meetings to capture everything by default

After each meeting, your recording and AI-generated summary will appear in your Wave account β€” ready when you are.

One-Off Bot (No Calendar Needed)

Don't have the meeting on your calendar? You can send a bot to any meeting URL:

  1. Open Wave and go to Settings β†’ Meeting Integrations

  2. Choose your platform (Zoom, Meet, or Teams)

  3. Paste the meeting URL

  4. Tap Create Bot β€” Wave handles the rest

πŸ”Œ Zoom: Connect Your Account

Zoom requires a one-time account authorization before Wave can join your meetings:

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Meeting Integrations

  2. Tap Connect Zoom Account

  3. Log in with your Zoom credentials

  4. Grant permission when prompted

Once connected, you'll see a confirmation message. To disconnect later, tap Disconnect Zoom Account in settings. You can also remove Wave from the Zoom side: go to the Zoom App Marketplace β†’ Manage β†’ Added Apps β†’ find "Wave AI Note Taker" β†’ Remove.


βš™οΈ Calendar Preferences

In Calendar Preferences you can:

  • Change the name of your bot

  • Toggle auto-join for all meetings

  • Automatically send notes to everyone in the meeting as Wave Guests
