πŸ‘₯ Wave Guests

Wave Guests makes it effortless to share meeting summaries with anyone on your calendar β€” automatically.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

When you connect your Google or Outlook calendar to Wave and start a recording in the Wave app, you can select attendees from any scheduled event and have Wave email them a summary as soon as the meeting ends. Guests don’t need a Wave account.

🀝 What Wave Guests Does

When you’re in a calendar event and start a recording, Wave will:

  1. πŸ“… Detect the active meeting

  2. πŸ‘€ Pull in attendee emails directly from the calendar invite

  3. πŸŽ›οΈ Let you select who should receive the summary

  4. βœ‰οΈ Automatically email the summary to those Guests after processing

No copying, no pasting, no extra follow-up work.

πŸ“¬ What Guests Receive

Your selected Guests will get a clean, professional email that includes:

  • πŸ“ The AI-generated meeting summary

  • πŸ” Key points and action items

  • πŸ“„ (Optional) A full transcript, depending on your settings

Guests do not need a Wave account to view the summary.

πŸ‘€ Who Can Be a Guest?

Anyone listed on the calendar event, including:

  • Internal colleagues

  • External collaborators

  • Clients and customers

  • Interview candidates

  • Vendors and consultants

You can also manually add additional email addresses after the meeting.

πŸš€ How to Add Guests

  1. Connect your Google or Outlook calendar on the Calendar tab.

  2. Start or join a recording during a calendar event.

  3. Wave will display the attendee list as β€œGuests.”

  4. Select the people you want to receive the summary.

  5. Record normally β€” Wave sends the emails automatically once processing finishes.

Note: Guests only appear when Wave detects you’re inside an active calendar event.
