Connect Wave to Evernote
Save Wave sessions to Evernote as notes with the summary, action items, and a timestamped transcript.
Connect Evernote and Wave can turn any session into a note — the session title as a heading, a Summary section, Action Items, and, if you want it, a Transcript with speaker names and timestamps.
Connect your Evernote account
Go to Settings → Sharing & Export → Evernote Share. You'll see Connect to Evernote — "Connect your Evernote account to automatically save your Wave sessions". Tap Connect with Evernote; Wave opens Evernote's authorization page in a browser. Approve, and the screen returns showing Connected to Evernote.
Where your notes land
Every note goes into your default Evernote notebook. Wave has no notebook or tag picker — organize the notes on the Evernote side once they arrive, or change which notebook is your default in Evernote itself.
Send a session
By hand. From a session's Share and Export sheet, tap Export to Evernote. On the web, click Evernote under Integrations in the Share & Export dialog and Wave confirms with Exported to Evernote. On desktop it's the Evernote tile under Export destinations, and the confirmation reads Note created in Evernote!
Automatically. Turn on Auto-share to Evernote, either on the Evernote settings page or on the Auto-share screen, and every session creates its own note as it finishes processing.
The transcript is included or left out based on Include Transcript in the share sheet for manual exports, and Include transcript on the Auto-share screen for automatic ones.
Disconnect and reconnect
Tap Disconnect from Evernote on the settings page (Disconnect on web and desktop). On mobile and the web app this also switches Evernote auto-share off.
To reconnect, run Connect with Evernote again and re-approve.
Common failures
- Evernote Connection Expired — "Your Evernote connection has expired. Please reconnect in Settings > Integrations." Evernote access tokens expire on a schedule and can't be refreshed silently, so this is expected every so often. Reconnect and exports resume.
- Not Connected — "Connect Evernote in Settings > Integrations first." You tried to export before finishing the connection.
- Auto-shares silently stop — almost always an expired token. Reconnect; the auto-share toggle is still on, so the next session goes through.
