Connect Wave to Grok
Add Wave as a connector in the Grok app or Grok Build and ask about your recorded meetings.
Grok can answer from your Wave meetings — what was decided, who said what, which action items are still open. Add Wave once as a connector and it's available in the Grok app on the web and your phone. Grok Build, xAI's terminal coder, connects with one command.
Connect
Go to grok.com/connectors and select New Connector, then Custom.
Paste https://mcp.wave.co as the MCP server URL and continue.
Sign in to Wave in the window that opens. Use the account you record with — if the account you pick has no recordings, Wave asks Is this the right Wave account? so you can switch.
In a chat, open + → Connectors and pick Wave, then ask your question.
Connectors are tied to your Grok account, so Wave is also available in the Grok apps on iOS and Android. In a Grok Business or Enterprise team, an admin adds the connector first in console.x.ai → Grok Business → Connectors.
Grok Bot installs its tools from the Cursor Marketplace, where Wave's listing is being reviewed. Until it's live, use the Grok app or Grok Build.
Try asking
- "What did we decide in yesterday's call?"
- "Find where we talked about pricing and quote it, with who said it."
- "What are my open action items from this week's meetings?"
Add "only use my Work folder" to keep personal recordings out of the answer.
Grok can search and read your sessions and can save action items or file sessions into folders. It can't delete a recording or change a transcript.
If it doesn't work
- Grok finds no sessions. You connected a Wave account with no recordings — usually a different Google or Apple login. Disconnect Wave and add it again with the right account.
- The connector won't save. Check the URL is exactly
https://mcp.wave.cowith nothing after it. - Grok Build says the server needs authentication. Open
/mcps, select wave, and press i to sign in again.
Disconnect
Grok app: open grok.com/connectors, select Wave, and choose Disconnect. Grok Build: grok mcp remove wave.
