Connect Wave to Muse
Ask Muse, Meta's personal AI, to connect to Wave and it can answer from your recorded meetings.
Muse, Meta's personal AI, can connect to the tools you use — and Wave is one of them. Once connected, Muse can search your meetings, read the transcripts, and tell you what was decided and what's still open.
Connect
Muse doesn't have an "add server" screen. You ask it to make the connection.
In Muse, send: "Create a custom connector for Wave. It's an MCP server at https://mcp.wave.co."
Muse sets up the connector and gives you a sign-in link. Open it and sign in to Wave with the account you record with. If the account you pick has no recordings, Wave asks Is this the right Wave account? so you can switch.
Go back to Muse and ask your first question. Muse remembers the connector for future chats.
Muse is free, and connectors work in the Muse apps for iOS and Android. Meta doesn't review custom connectors, so Muse may ask you to confirm you trust the service.
Try asking
- "What did we decide in yesterday's call?"
- "Find where we talked about pricing and tell me who said what."
- "What are my open action items from this week's meetings?"
Add "only use my Work folder" to keep personal recordings out of the answer.
Muse can search and read your sessions and can save action items or file sessions into folders. It can't delete a recording or change a transcript.
If it doesn't work
- Muse finds no sessions. You signed in to a Wave account with no recordings — usually a different Google or Apple login. Disconnect Wave and connect again with the right account.
- Muse asks for an API key. It doesn't need one — Wave uses a normal sign-in. Tell Muse the server uses OAuth and open the sign-in link it gives you.
- The connector isn't there in a new chat. Ask Muse to connect to Wave again; it will reuse the connector it created.
Disconnect
In Muse, open Settings → Connectors and disconnect Wave. Muse loses access to your recordings immediately.
