  4. Record Your Shortcut

    • Default phrases are “Start a new Wave recording” and “Start Wave Phone Bridge.”

    • To personalize, tap Change Voice Phrase, speak your own command, and tap Done.

2. Assign to the Action Button (iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max)

  1. Open iOS Settings
Go to Settings → Action Button.

  2. Select Your Shortcut
Under Press and Hold, choose Wave – Start Recording (or your customized phrase).

  3. Test It
A long press or single press (per your button settings) should trigger Siri and kick off a Wave recording instantly.

3. Using Your New Workflow

  • By Voice:
“Hey Siri, Start a new Wave recording.”
