Connecting Apple Calendar
Sync the calendars on your iPhone or Mac — iCloud included — so every recording gets the right title and speakers, and Wave can join your meetings.
Apple Calendar support brings the calendars on your device into Wave — your iCloud calendars, plus any account your Calendar app shows. Once connected, recordings you make during meetings pick up the event's title and attendees, your schedule appears in Wave's Calendar tab, and Wave can send its notetaker bot into meetings that have a video link.
Unlike Google and Outlook, Apple Calendar doesn't use a cloud sign-in. Wave reads the calendars directly from your iPhone or Mac and syncs them while the app runs. Wave only reads your events — it never creates, edits, or deletes anything on your calendar.
Connect it
Already connected to Google or Outlook? Leave those calendars unchecked in the picker so meetings don't show up twice. Wave also detects duplicates automatically when the same meeting arrives from two sources, but unchecking is cleaner.
To change your selection later on iPhone, open Calendar & Bot Settings from the Calendar tab — under Apple Calendar Connected, tap Choose calendars…. Calendar selections are per-device: your iPhone and your Mac each choose their own calendars to sync.
How syncing works
Your device is the source, so syncing happens while Wave runs. On iPhone: every time you open the app, roughly every 90 seconds while you're in it, and whenever you pull down to refresh the Calendar tab. On Mac: continuously while the desktop app is running. Changes you make in the Calendar app show up in Wave the next time it syncs.
If Wave hasn't run in a while, your events in Wave can be behind your calendar — that's expected, not a broken connection. Opening the app catches everything up.
Recording Apple Calendar meetings
Meetings with a Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams link get the same record switch as any other calendar meeting — open the event and turn on Record this meeting, and Wave's bot joins at the start time. See recording calendar meetings.
Keep notifications enabled for the best experience: Wave reminds you 15 minutes before it joins a meeting (tap the notification to review or turn recording off), and can schedule bots for your whole synced calendar. With notifications off, Wave only schedules bots up to 48 hours ahead, so it needs you to open the app within two days of a meeting you've switched on.
All-day events and events without a meeting link can't take a bot — record those in person with the record button, and Wave matches the recording to the meeting on your calendar.
Disconnecting
In Calendar & Bot Settings, use Disconnect under the Apple Calendar connection. This removes the synced events from Wave and cancels any bots scheduled for Apple Calendar meetings. Recordings you've already made are untouched.

Yes — any calendar your iPhone's Calendar app shows can be synced, including Google or Exchange accounts added to iOS. If that same account is also connected to Wave directly, leave it unchecked in the Apple picker to avoid duplicates.
Syncing runs from your iPhone while Wave is open. Open the app (or pull down to refresh the Calendar tab) and your latest changes come through.
