Auto-share: Send Every Session to Your Tools Automatically

Set up automatic delivery of every Wave session to your email, Notion, Google Docs, OneNote, or Evernote.

Auto-share lets every Wave session post itself to the places you actually work — your inbox, Notion, Google Docs, OneNote, or Evernote — the moment it finishes processing. Set it up once; never share a session manually again.

Where to find it

On mobile, go to Settings → Sharing & Export → Auto-share. Every destination has its own toggle, and you can turn on as many as you want. Each destination runs independently — if one fails, the others still go through.

📧 Email

Auto-send completed sessions emails the summary (and optionally the full transcript) to the address on your Wave account, every time a session finishes processing.

Turn it on with the toggle under the Email section. If you want to send to a different address, change your Wave account email or set up an Alternative Email — see Alternative Emails in Wave.

🔵 Notion

Creates a new Notion page under a parent page you choose, for every completed session.

  1. Toggle Notion on under Integrations

  2. Connect your Notion workspace if you haven't already

  3. Pick the parent page where new session pages should live

Each session becomes its own page with the title, summary, and (if enabled) the transcript.

🟦 Google Docs

Creates a new Google Doc in your Drive for every completed session.

  1. Toggle Google Docs on under Integrations

  2. Connect your Google account if you haven't already

Docs are created in your default Drive location with the session title, summary, and (if enabled) transcript.

🟣 OneNote

Creates a new page in your OneNote, inside Wave Exports → Wave Summaries, for every completed session.

  1. Toggle OneNote on under Integrations

  2. Connect your Microsoft account if you haven't already

Wave creates the notebook and section the first time it runs, so there's nothing to configure on the OneNote side.

🟢 Evernote

Creates a new note in your default Evernote notebook for every completed session.

  1. Toggle Evernote on under Integrations

  2. Connect your Evernote account if you haven't already

Include transcript

At the bottom of the Auto-share screen, the Include transcript toggle controls whether the full transcript is attached alongside the summary. It applies to every auto-share destination — email, Notion, Docs, OneNote, and Evernote — at once.

  • On — every auto-shared destination gets the title, summary, and full transcript

  • Off — destinations get only the title and summary

Managing destinations

You can also toggle any single destination from its own settings page (e.g. Settings → Integrations → Notion). Changes sync to the Auto-share screen instantly, in either direction.

Disconnecting an integration anywhere automatically turns off its auto-share.

Manual sharing still works

Auto-share doesn't replace one-off sharing. You can still tap Share on any individual session to export it to PDF, DOCX, public link, or any destination on demand. See Sharing and Exporting Your Wave Sessions for the full menu.

Platform availability

Auto-share is configured in the mobile app. Once enabled, it applies to every recording, no matter which device you record on — mobile, web (app.wave.co), or desktop (Mac & Windows).
